The Nassau County Genealogist: Online Table of Contents

The Amelia Island Genealogical Society has published the Nassau County Genealogist continuously since 1994. A print only publication, indexed in PERSIThe Nassau County Genealogist features stories and history of Nassau County, Florida, and its people. It also provides genealogical records which pertain to Nassau County, Florida. Jean Mann has served as the sole editor since the quarterly was first published!

Our quarterly is published in January (Winter), April (Spring), July (Summer), and October (Fall). There have been occasional combining of issues and during Covid of 2020 some issues were unable to be published.

The Amelia Island Genealogical Society is publishing The Nassau County Genealogist articles in our members only area of this website. This printed quarterly is an important membership benefit that our society members dues fund. Consider joining the Amelia Island Genealogical Society to continue funding this genealogy material!

    The Wilder Cemetery is an active cemetery in Nassauville FL. It can be reached by taking State Road 200 to State Road 107 South (Old Nassauville Road). Go 2.9 miles on 107 South. Turn left onto Arbor Ln and continue a short distance (about 500 ft) to Tyson Road on the left. Take Tyson Road to Alligator Creek Road (1/2 mi) and turn right. Follow Alligator Creek Road 0.3 miles and the cemetery will be on your right, the graves are on the back half of the lot. The Cemetery is fenced with an unlocked gate. All cemetery inscriptions published in the Nassau County Genealogist are incorporated into our online cemetery pages.

    The original location of this cemetery was on the left of SR 200 1.4 miles east of the junction of US 1/US 301 and State Road 200. Prior to the removal AIGS surveyed the cemetery on 2 April 1993 and recorded the few stones that were still present. All cemetery inscriptions published in the Nassau County Genealogist are incorporated into our online cemetery pages.
