The Amelia Island Genealogical Society currently publishes two publications, one in print only, the other in digital format only.
The Nassau County Genealogist
Since 1992 the Amelia Island Genealogical Society members have published a quarterly called The Nassau County Genealogist. A print only publication, indexed in PERSI, The Nassau County Genealogist features stories and history of Nassau County, Florida, and its people. It also provides genealogical records which pertain to Nassau County, Florida. Jean Mann has served as the sole editor since the quarterly was first published.
The Geneline
The Amelia Island Genealogical Society has published a monthly newsletter since 1992 called the Geneline. The Geneline informs members of upcoming AIGS events, provides tips and tools for genealogical research, and delivers current news within the family history community. It also publishes members’ own case histories on a wide variety of topics. Any researcher will find the newsletter of value in their monthly genealogical reading!
