The Amelia Island Genealogical Society will hold its regular monthly meeting at 7pm on the 3rd Tuesday, 18 June 2024, in the community room at the Fernandina Branch Library. Jane Collins, President of Colonial Dames, will speak on Gus Gerbing, who was a well-known local entrepreneur and gardener. She will also speak about her father's efforts to stop the paper companies from polluting the river.

Jean Mann will be the guest speaker where she will discuss the history of the AIGS. Before her presentation the AIGS society members will vote on the nominations for officers and board members for 2025/2026 and the budget for 2025.
