    The Amelia Island Genealogical Society will hold its regular monthly meeting at 7pm on the 3rd Tuesday, 20 January 2026, in the community room at the Fernandina Branch Library. The public is invited to join us! At this meeting, guest speaker Larry Fermi will present “Let’s Make a New Deal,” a program examining the Works Progress Administration, Civilian Conservation Corps, and National Youth Administration. The presentation focuses on how these New Deal programs affected ordinary Americans during the Great Depression and the records they produced.
