General Meeting

The Amelia Island Genealogical Society will hold its regular monthly meeting at 7pm on the 3rd Tuesday, 17 September 2024, in the community room at the Fernandina Branch Library. Speaker for the evening will be John H. Hendricks of Callahan, Nassau, Florida.

Come join us with guest speaker Andrew Thompson as he discusses: Lessons Learned from my African American Genealogy Research: There is Something for Everybody In this presentation. Mr. Thompson will review the best practices and lessons learned during his discovery of over 50 enslaved relatives. These tips transcend the niche of AfricanAmerican Genealogy and will provide practical advice for researchers in all areas of Genealogy.
