Topic: Finding Your Overseas Ancestors Using US Records
Guest Speaker: Paul Howes
Paul is the founder of the One-Name Study into his surname, reconstructing families for anyone named Howes (or House or Howse) anywhere in the world, now nearly 210,000 people in his online database. Paul has spoken to groups and conferences on both sides of the Atlantic. A past Chairman of the Guild of One-Name Studies he has been awarded the Guild’s Master Craftsman designation. An actuary by profession, Paul was a senior partner in a global consulting firm. A proud Floridian, he has lived in six countries, and worked in over fifty. In his other life, Paul is a keen yachtsman.
