A Joint Information Center (JIC) has been established at the Nassau County Emergency Operations Center (EOC). The EOC is currently operating at Level 2, which means it has enhanced staffing between 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM. Staff is able to respond to questions by phone (904-548-0900) or through Facebook messaging. If you need questions answered outside of these operating hours, the Nassau County Department of Health is available to answer calls (904-875-6100). The One Nassau Initiative’s Joint Information System (JIS) was established to monitor the rapidly changing situation and provide a unified message to our residents from all aspects of local government including: the City of Fernandina Beach, the Department of Health, Board of County Commissioners, Emergency Management, Fire Rescue, Police Department, Sheriff, School Board and other Constitutional Offices.
